Large-area double-sided TOPCon solar cell with an efficiency of 23.01%

An international research team composed of scientists from Belgian research institutes KU Leuven, VITO, imec and UHasselt and the University of Kuwait used low-pressure chemical vapor deposition (LPCVD) technology to produce a kind of in-situ phosphorus-doped polysilicon (poly-Si). ) Large-area double-sided TOPCon solar cell with thin-film passivation contacts.

This n-type cell uses phosphorous-doped LPCVD polysilicon passivation contacts with an open circuit voltage of 691.7mV. After some adjustments, this battery may be used in commercial production.
